Janis, I just five minutes ago got my ARC of "The Cracker Kitchen," and it looks like a delicious read. I'm going to enjoy the stories, and I'm sure we'll enjoy the recipes too (those that don't violate my cardio diet, that is). I'll be in touch to do an interview soon, and we'll get you a feature on the Sunday Lifestyle front in a couple of weeks. Congratulations on a really fun book. Peace.
Tony

Hey Janis
I just finished reading all 3 of your books and I am totally captivated! Your brother, Jeff, works with my husband, lent me his copies. I hope you write a 4th...I dying to know what happens to Simon!
Thanks for such a wonderful magical escape !
My best, Sandi

Janice,
I've read all three of your books multiple times and I'm anxiously awaiting something else. If you check out my Facebook page, you'll see two of your books are in my top three all time favorites. I've loaned your books out to friends and have even bought four or five copies of Claybird. (It's good to have a copy on hand for a gift.) My Brother Michael moved me more than any piece of literature ever has. Just incredible.
I decided to write you because I wanted to find out if you're on Facebook. There are plenty of Janice Owenses, but I can't tell if any of them are you. If you haven't joined, you should. I would love to direct my literate friends to you.
I work with the University of Kentucky and have told the Women Writer's Conference folks to contact you. I'd love to see you at this annual event in Lexington: http://www.uky.edu/WWK/
Take care and PLEASE keep writing! You are one of my heros and your words sustain me.

Hi, Janis,
Was wondering when your book about the Meloungeons of Jackson County is going to come out. i have been anxiously awaiting it. Any news on that? I am one of your biggest fans and can;t wait to read your next novel.
I am not sure if I am doing the antispam thing right, LOL.
